The following documents are necessary when signing a rental agreement: ID, driving licence and bank card. Customers should be at least 21 and have a valid driving license for at least 1 year. In case these requirements are not fulfilled, customers should provide additional guarantee returned only upon the return of the rented car in good operation and bodywork conditions, with all the documents, accessories and equipment. Payment of the rental price and guarantee should be made in advance, according to the exchange rate of the National Bank of Romania, valid on the payment day. Payment by credit card is accepted against a 3% commission. For guaranteed reservations, an advance payment of the rental price for one day is necessary, depending on the type of car reserved. In case of cancellation of reservation, the customer loses the advance payment. The guarantee paid is returned upon recovery of the car in good operation and bodywork conditions, with all the documents, accessories and equipment, as delivered. The guarantee will be used for penalties in case of damages found on the inside or outside of the car (and not covered by the insurance), theft of car parts, loss of car document (EUR 100) or car keys etc. Fuel is not included in the price and should be paid by customers. Our cars are delivered with the fuel tank full and must be returned in the same condition. Upon recovery of the car, penalties of RON 5/litre are charged for any fuel missing. The owner is responsible for oil and car maintenance. Cars are delivered and returned at the place, date and hour indicated by customers and included in the Rental Agreement. Delivery and return may be made in other places in the country as well, with the owner’s agreement and based on an agreed price. Rental agreements may be extended only with the owner’s approval. In case the hour mentioned in the Rental agreement for the return of the car is delayed by less than three hours, an additional fee equal to the price for half a day shall be charged, and if such delays exceed 3 hours, an additional fee equal to the price for one day shall be charged. All the damages suffered by the rented car due to the client’s misconduct or caused by unknown people are insured, except for an amount – the guarantee deposit – to be paid by the customer. This amount is indicated in our price schedule as GUARANTEE. In case of accident, the customer shall make a statement to the Police who will acknowledge the damage and issue a Damage Report and Authorization for Repairs. These documents are compulsory for the operation of the insurance and repair of the vehicle. The statement to the Police is compulsory in all cases: if the customer is guilty or victim, if the customer is the sole person involved in the accident or if the guilty person is unidentified (e.g. damages occurred in the parking in the customer’s absence). Without these documents, the customer is liable for all the repair costs. |
